Bankside is set to benefit from a number of urban greening projects which will be implemented during February.  Better Bankside, through its Bankside Urban Forest initiative has secured funding to implement a number of different schemes, each of which will demonstrate the value that incorporating more planting and canopy coverage can bring to a neighbourhood like Bankside.

Camden Council have launched their first on-street recycling zone, which runs from Koko’s on Camden High Street to Chalk Farm tube station. 

All black bins on the street have one side for recycling and the other side for rubbish. The bins will give residents and visitors to Camden Town the opportunity to recycle on the go, and help the Council to save money.
